So I guess this 30 challenge is over. I started this kind of spur of the moment so that my followers could get to know me better if they wanted to …and so that I’d have something to post everyday… I had never finished one before so I guess I’m happy that I finally finished. I might do another one sometime~
Highs of this month:
I don’t think there are any specific events that stick out because I’ve only been at school and at home… but I guess having a more positive and different outlook on things was probably my highlight. It sounds cliche but it’s true… what you see around you all depends on your perception of things.
Last weekend was probably the most eventful…
- I went to San Jose with my family on Saturday to watch my little cousins play sports all day (my aunt wanted to go watch them because she knows it’s something my grandma would have wanted to do if she were still alive).
- I went to Davis on Sunday to celebrate my cousin Dani and her husband Ryan both getting jobs out of state (on the other side of the country) and I got to see my cousin’s daughter who is probably the cutest little girl in the world.
Lows of this month:
The same unresolved issues kept popping up… the same stresses and pressures that have been building up seemed to have built up so much that I broke down.
Also, last Wednesday was pretty bad. I hate when people are being an asshole and they think they’re hilarious while I’m not doing/saying anything to provoke them and I’m just trying to join the conversation and be nice… maybe next time I’ll take their advice and just leave so they can hit on my friend and try to get with her even though she’s told them many times she isn’t interested and they won’t let it go. My friend needs to find someone else to cockblock for her… -.-
- Get my license.
- Look at cars and possibly test drive some and figure out what my price range affords and what I’m going to do for auto insurance.
- Look for jobs that coordinate with my school schedule and apply.
- Pass all my exams in school.
- Figure out what I want to do for spring break and make some solid plans.
[30DayChallenge]
I miss a lot of things but I guess since I moved to Northern California, I miss Southern California. All my friends are there… the weather is nice… and I never really appreciated it while I was there. I’ll probably end up living in Los Angeles at some point …maybe not settling down there for good but maybe a few months to a year.. to a couple years. There’s so much there that I haven’t seen yet.
[30DayChallenge]
Day 23 - Give pictures of 5 guys who are famous who you find attractive.
Jay Park
Frank Ocean
T.O.P.
Ne-Yo
Lucas Till
This is kind of tough because I don’t really watch TV anymore… but I have a few shows that I watch every now and then but I don’t watch any of these often enough to just pick one…
I love Modern Family… it’s always hilarious. So much love for this show.
I think I’ve seen every episode of That 70’s Show. I can quote most of the episodes but I still love it. Fez has my heart.
I also really like Lockup …if you don’t know about it, it’s a documentary about prisoners/inmates and prisons. I don’t know why it fascinates me but it does. I just feel like sometimes people make bad decisions but it doesn’t make them bad people… but at the same time, rehabilitation doesn’t work for most inmates who wind up back in prison numerous times… I don’t feel like prison solves anything but I can’t think of any other ultimate solutions…
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit always draws me in and I have to see the entire episode or I’ll spend the rest of the week contemplating how it ended …and I always feel like a detective, trying to solve the case before the show ends.

Shows are a weird topic for me because I never think about watching TV anymore until someone asks me what my favorite show is… I used to watch probably too much TV and now I watch maybe an hour a week, if that…
Isn’t this kind of vague?
Well here we go… if you want to unfollow me because of my beliefs, go for it. I don’t mean to offend anyone but at the same time if you’re going to unfollow me …at least you have a “real reason”, right? Because no one can have a different opinion than you~~
- I don’t know how I feel about abortion but I know that I’m pro-choice and not pro-abortion …and trust me, there’s a difference. Personally, I don’t think I could go through with it unless it was under extreme circumstances and early enough in the pregnancy. I think everyone should be able to form their own opinion about it.
- I don’t follow a religion. I don’t judge those who do but if I were to worship a religion, I’d want to believe in it wholeheartedly and I just see a whole lot of hypocrisy in the religion I was raised in. I think being a good person should come from who you are, not who you were told to be.
- I listen to whatever music I feel like listening to and I don’t like it when people ask me what kind of music I listen to and try to put me in a category based on what music I listen to. The music I listen to isn’t even about me so it shouldn’t define me.
- Interracial relationships are beautiful. Same-race relationships are beautiful. Straight relationships are beautiful. Lesbian relationships are beautiful. Gay relationships are beautiful. Love between two consenting adults in general, is beautiful.
- I learned recently that you really can’t judge a book by it’s cover. Even if all you say is that someone seems stuck-up because they did a little extra to get ready that morning and seem cocky when that’s just how they feel comfortable/express themselves and it makes them feel confident… or that someone is rude because they won’t talk to you when they’re really just shy and worried about people judging them… how a person dresses and sometimes how they act isn’t really who they are. It’s normal to judge someone from a distance but you can’t let that opinion of them get set in stone or you could be missing out on someone amazing.
- Your beliefs are just as valid as mine even if it’s completely opposite. I keep an open mind because nothing is ever just right or just wrong… there’s a lot of gray area.
- I don’t smoke or do drugs and I don’t drink often (only in social settings) and if someone else does, I probably won’t hangout with them when they’re doing it and it might affect my friendship or relationship with them because I don’t want that around me… but I won’t preach to anyone about it either. If it’s affecting someone’s life, they should stop but they have to be the one to decide that.
- Skipping meals is stupid and starving yourself screws up your metabolism forever (I know from experience). Be healthy, be happy, and take care of yourself. If you want to change something about yourself and you want it bad enough, working hard for it is better in the long run than any quick fix.
- You don’t have to be a bitch to be honest. It’s possible to be respectful while still being truthful and if your “brutally honest opinion” isn’t asked for, you don’t need to share it.
There’s obviously more topics I could talk about but that’s just a few. If you want to know my beliefs on any other topic, feel free to ask me.
This is a stupid topic! Okay, not really… but I hate how people are so “mainstream vs. indie/underground” because I think people should listen to whatever they want. If they want to listen to kpop, country, rap, and classical in the same sitting… why can’t they?! And I think it’s stupid when people turn their backs on their favorite bands and artists when they become popular… if you really love them so much, why wouldn’t you wish them to do well?! You think they’re working so hard to get their music heard just so that only you and your elite group of friends have the privilege of knowing about them? Hell no.
Sure, it sucks when you thought you knew about something no one else knew about and then everyone else knows about it and it’s no longer special to you… but get over it.
That being said, the radio needs to get a better variety… it’s always the same songs for at least 6 months until they slowly rotate in new stuff to destroy. Music should be like candy… too much of the same thing will make you tired of it eventually.
LISTEN TO WHATEVER YOU WANT and shut up.
I’m sorry I wasn’t able to post one yesterday not that anyone really cares. I have unreliable internet at home and I didn’t want to risk writing something and then going to post it and I get that error page thing and it doesn’t save.
My earliest memory… I have some bad ones but one of my best earliest memories is playing outside after it rained. It looked so beautiful and everything kind of glowed. I ran outside and just walked around. I don’t know if it’s actually a memory or if it was just a dream I had… but it’s one of my favorites so if it was just a dream, I’ll pretend it was real.
